Fathers, bless your first born. Why is this important.  In the bible the firstborn is spoken of many times, not to say the other children are not as important, but there are spiritual laws we must be aware of.   Blessing your first born sets a certain spiritual precedence, and when you think of it your first born is the start of your legacy.

He or she is to be looked up to and respected , and revered as no other after him , He or she is to be the example the armor bearer to your legacy, the guide for the younger siblings.   You want to make sure he or she sets the right example and guide for the rest. The first born will usually take over from you, ...So start off your heritage right and bless your first born who does have a special connection to your lineage and heart. .

But he shall acknowledge the firstborn, … by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the beginning of his strength; to him belongs the right of the firstborn. Deuteronomy 21:17
